I am not your average hero
with their flashy colors and capes
I am just a sarcastic platypus
with the skills of a tornado
I'm awkward little Harry Potter
with the power of the bass running through my fingers
I am not as advanced as Japan,
but just as curious as Ireland
I am a playful panda
as smooth as falling sleet
I am as dark as orange
with the intensity of black
I am odd Rogue,
misunderstood by the masses
I hold the strength of ten drums
with the caress of floating bubbles
I am that loud hush
with the bite of loneliness
I am no one in particular,
yet I'm everyone at once
I am who you didn't want to be
just a child with grown up dreams
Hear me laugh
Hear me roar
Watch me become something more
Who am I?
I am this.

Nothing more than sinful bliss.

In my poetry class we had this little workshop where we picked a few words we had previously thrown together...

First we chose five to describe us;
` Sarcastic
` Awkward
` Loud
` Odd
` Curious

And then we chose two from every category on the board.

Animal:
` panda
` platypus

Musical instrument:
` bass
` drums

Fictional Characters:
` Harry Potter
` Rogue (X-Men)

Weather:
` Tornado
` Sleet

Places:
` Ireland
` Japan

Colors:
` Orange
` Black

Then we had to write a poem starting with the words "I am"... this is mine.

I really like it, and I think it describes me in a very simple manner.
